MY BIOGRAPHY

Sabrina knew she wanted be in a helpful profession from a young age. But later decided, to become a teacher instead of going into medicine. This was due ultimately, to her father's tough battle, and untimely death to cancer at a young age.  Since then, she always felt a strong drive to: help others, ease suffering, and create connection and community for others.

Sabrina spent her teen and early twenties, as a fitness instructor, swimming teacher, and lifeguard. In addition to a great love of the outdoors through skiing, hiking, swimming, martial arts, and ziplining. She has also done a great deal of volunteer work in hospitals, medical research, and senior homes, as a young person, she was involved in theatre, sports, and charity work starting as a teen.

Experiencing a great deal of adversity, loss, and suffering in her own life, Sabrina is always looking to help others find their path, in a compassionate and grounded way. Her career as an Arts and Humanities educator, over nearly the last twenty years has helped her do that.

Although she has been given many lemons by life... She has chosen to make lemonade... And one of her favorite Shania songs is entitled, "Today in Your Day." Click this video below. This song, was inspired by Shania's story which shares some parallels to her own life in It, expressing her 'attitude of gratitude' despite her challenges in her own life.

She strives to live each day to the fullest, and do her best to make the world a happier place for everyone she encounters in her day.

Mindfulness techniques and teachings have enabled to help not only herself, but countless others. They have made her into a 'pay it forward' kind of person.

A PERFECT DAY!

A perfect day would begin with.. what else?? mindfulness............. going rock climbing, volunteering to help sick kids at a local charity, and doing some laughter yoga!

Philosophy on Life:

Life can be taken seriously or lightly. We can send to others when life gets hard or we can stop sweating the small stuff!  Our ability to accept others and ourselves as will create a happier planet. When we see people as human beings and radiate unconditional love and acceptance for others, our negativity, and oppressive social programming falls away. By becoming comfortable with the concept of love, in a broader context, we are simply making the world a better place! We can make a powerful, deliberate, choice to stay grounded. We can choose to go with the flow and stay neutral when challenges comes to our life. We can choose to see the glass half full, and stay grateful and in the present moment, when adversity hits us. Teaching the power of gratitude, is a powerful tool to override negative thinking. Sending kindness, and compassion, on a daily basis, can bring joy to your every moment, even the hardest ones.

As the New Radical's song suggests: "You only what we give!" I believe we,  should be the reason, for somebody to live!

If “You” want change, then “You” need to be willing to change. Everything good truly begins with “You!”
